Storekeepers are very essential for the proper functioning of any shop; small and large shops alike. Duties and Responsibilities of a Storekeeper 

  1. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with standards.
  2. Order and track the delivery of supplies.
  3. Keep a record of sales and restock the store accordingly.
  4. Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
  5. Operate computers, RF scanners, and be able to use other technology used in the shop. 
  6. Maintain a neat and orderly store in compliance with all governmental regulations.
  7. Maintain an orderly and safe work area and maintain familiarity with operating procedures, general rules, and regulations
  8. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to account for reimbursements and record-keeping
  9. Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
  10. Monitor Periodic Automatic Replacement levels for all food items to ensure proper levels.
  11. Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors. 
  12. Manage and train store staff.
